Post New Job

Job Hunting is Serious Business

Dear Sir/ma/bros/sis,
Welcome to my blog!
I feel very excited writing this post because it’s my first blogging experience.
It’s important for me to state what you already know  – ‘Job hunting is a serious business”. You must be ready for the challenge. This process will make you grow, develop new skills and ultimately provide you with the opportunity you desire.
I want to encourage you not to be discouraged but with every disappointment be spurred up to continue applying. I have a few tips for you to consider:

  • Apply for a job that best matches your skill and qualification. This will reduce your chance of disappointment and boost your chance of securing the job
  • Take every application seriously. Don’t take any application with levity. Give it your best all the time. Dot all I’s and cross all T’s
  • Don’t despise any opportunity. Be open to any reasonable job you find. You’ll develop the skills and network required to land you your dream job
  • Don’t be intimidated by the number of applicants. As long as you think you’re qualified for the opportunity, please give it a shot! The number of applicants might be many but the true contenders are very few
  • See each failure as an opportunity to grow. You’ll feel bad when you get that reject email but don’t be demoralized. Take it positively and identify room for improvement.
  • Seek help from the experts. Ask questions from the professionals. Don’t be afraid to pay a little token for services that will boost your chances of success
  • Trust God to direct your steps and favour you. Many testimonies abound of those who got jobs by applying faith to their work. I am a living witness to this.

In this blog, I will be sharing latest graduate level job openings (0 – 3 years work experience), undergraduate and graduate internship, beneficial training and seminars (organized by MyFristJobNG and other organizations), and international internship opportunities.
Do bear in mind that most of the jobs on this site are complied from other leading Nigeria job sites, hence I do not take credit for it and also not liable to you if for any reason a misleading information was provided.
